What’s the Difference Between Sig Sauer P320 & Beretta APX?
While both the Beretta APX and the Sig Sauer P320 are bespoke striker-fired guns, the APX slide is more stout, frame rails on Beretta APX run almost the full length of the frame where the Sig Sauer P320 does not because it designed its frame at a very high axis. The barrel on APX Beretta is also thicker and has a bit more heft and the guide rod. And unlike the Sig P320, the Beretta had no recalls.

Design & Ergonomics
The Beretta APX features aggressive full-length slide serrations that make slide manipulations easy under any conditions and have more superior comfort of the grip. In contrast, the Sig makes, but it is a bit slippery. Although the Sig Sauer P320 also shoots well like the APX, its grip isn’t as ergonomic.
The APX Beretta even accommodates right or left-handed use because its magazine release button and slide stop are ambidextrous. With this, the Beretta APX takes the point.
Beretta APX & Sig P320 Ammunition
The Beretta APX offers more options for compatible ammunition than the Sig P320. In the Beretta APX, you can use a 9mm Luger and 40 S&W ammunition while the Sig Sauer P320 only caters to a 9mm Luger ammo. Because of this, the Beretta APX takes another win against the Sig Sauer P320
Trigger
After the upgrade, the Sig Sauer P320’s trigger was crisper than the Beretta APX. The Sig P320 has a curved trigger while the APX Beretta has a flatter factory trigger that makes shooting and follows up shots easier. You don’t need tools to remove/change the trigger group of P320, while the APX Beretta is a bit more time-consuming. With this, the Sig P320 takes another win.
Sights - Sig Sauer P320 or APX?
The Sig Sauer P320 features a SIGLITE Front / Night Sight Rear Plate while the Beretta APX features a fixed low profile Three-Dot Sights and has a low bore axis that provides controllability and faster sight tracking.
Our team decided to give the point to the Sig P320 because although the Beretta APX sights’ are made of steel, we didn’t like that if you want to remove the rear sights, you’ll need to go to the gunsmith.
