The slide catch lever of the Sig Pro doubles as the takedown lever, and it is tight when new. After a few cleanings, meaning that it has been field-stripped several times, it becomes easier to break down.
One person has suggested using the tip of a wooden chopstick, or similar object that will not affect the pistol's finish, to help in pushing the slide catch lever out.
