Can the Sig Pro's magazine release be reversed for left-handed shooters?

Yes. All Sig Pros come from the factory with the magazine release mounted on the left side of the frame, for right-handed shooters, but it can be reversed, specifically placed on the right side of the frame, for left-handed shooters.

The following are the steps to remove the Sig Pro magazine release:

• Depress the magazine catch fully
• Using a 1/16" pin punch, depress the magazine catch lock through the opening on the opposite end of the catch to release the magazine catch from the frame
• Separate the magazine catch lock and the magazine catch
• Remove the magazine catch and magazine catch spring from the frame

The following are the steps to install the Sig Pro magazine release:

• Install magazine catch and spring in frame
• Depress magazine catch
• Reseat magazine catch lock.

Be sure to control magazine catch spring tension at all times during removal and installation.
